June was another month were we failed to meet our single income budget. After four months, we have been succesful in two months and failed in the other two months. With summer break here we were on the road more which led to spending more in gas and also led to falling into the eating out trap again. Over and over dining out is one of the most difficult categories for us to control.
In the big picture, we have spent about $140 more than we have made in the past four months. Next, month should be a good month for us to catch up because most of our gas and dining out money will come out of our vacation savings.
