We are on a mission to one day replace a big part of our income with dividend payouts. Hopefully, one day this account can pay us a monthly income that can support us in retirement similar to a pension plan. We have received five dividend distributions for the month, totaling $211.41. For 2017, we have now received a total of $1,185.22 in dividend payouts. Our total dividend payments for the year are enough to replace 79% of one paycheck. By the end of year we hope to be able to replace almost two paychecks. This would replace a whole month of income, because we receive 24 paychecks per year. We are continuing to automatically reinvest all of our payouts back into the securities, because there are no trading fees.
